Upload guide: what photo works best

Pick a back-to-camera seated photo, your head turned back over your shoulder at the camera.

• Light and quality: Choose a recent photo in bright, even light, in high resolution, with your face in sharp focus. Skip screenshots with black bars or app buttons, photos of another screen, and heavy filters that reshape your face.
• Framing: Use a reverse view from below, sitting on top with your back to the camera, looking back over your shoulder at the camera.
• Eyes and gaze: Look back over your shoulder at the camera with your eyes half shut, no hair across your face.
• Just you: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth open and uncovered.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Do not use: front-facing portraits only, faces turned away from the camera, mouths covered, dark or blurry photos.
